what a charming little hotel, but I must say, my experience was ruined by the air conditioning leaking all over the floor. staff seemed friendly, yet I never got the room upgrade I so rightly deserved, even after asking. how hard is it to accommodate someone like me? almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly.
I was given a noisy room right by the reception. The air conditioning was faulty, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Additionally, there was a terrible sewage smell that lingered during my stay, which really detracted from the experience.

Consider requesting a room away from the air shaft for better natural light during your stay.

I stayed in a Single Room for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was tiny! The twin bed took up most of the space, and I could barely open my suitcase without blocking the door. The window looked out onto an air shaft, so not much natural light. The heating worked super well. I was almost too warm! Just be careful with the shower—it's a handheld one over a half bath and can get messy real fast. Overall, it's a decent spot if you just need a bed for the night.

great location but noisy
The room was impeccably clean, and the proximity to the castle added significant charm to my stay. The city view from my window was a lovely sight, especially in the morning light.
However, I faced a significant disturbance due to jackhammers right outside my window.
